Here is another pattern from Weldon’s Ladies Journal 1935. Again apologies on not having the date for you. It’s a finished bust of 35 inches, so 33 – 34 -35 inches depending on how tight you wear your sweater.

    • I think it’s an English thing – in the UK we’d call it a jumper today if it’s knitted, though the American sweater is also understood, but mainly used for jersey machined knitted. We used to use jersey as a name for a jumper too, from the UK island Jersey.
