Year – Not sure but as it’s a larger format I’d suggest after the WW2 paper shortages and I think that’s a style of hair from the 1950s.

Size – 34, 36, 38 inch busts

Yarn Size – 2 ply or 3 ply

Needle sizes are in UK Imperial sizes. A conversion chart can be found here.

WARNING: there is an offensive name for a colour of yarn. I think it was commonly used in the UK as a yarn name, but it is racism. I have left it unaltered, as I think we need to recognise that offensive racism was so casual and ubiquitous that even a knitting pattern would include it.
