Children’s Glove Knitting Pattern in 3 sizes – Bestway 1198 – 1940s knitting pattern

Link to PDF

Year – 1940s. The paper is noticeably rougher than other Bestway patterns I own and is what I would have called sugar paper at school. It isn’t bleached white, but is a creamy brown. I expect this pattern was produced at the height of paper shortages in the UK in WW2.

Size – 6 to 12 years old, also petite hands

Yarn Size – 3 ply
